- @Andy Ritch - what "new" tax? I already pay 30% for taxes, as does everyone else in the middle class! The only people calling this a "new" tax are the 1% (their rate averages around 10-15%)!

- correction, shaking my head, busing for whites, began in the 60s and 70s as an attempt to end segregation. Busing was always a reality for black kids in the south who were, because of the Jim Crow laws, bussed out of their neighborhoods to attend all blacks schools.

Kat-1015719, Obama's hair is not nappy and neither is is girls, but if they all were it's character that counts and the contents of one heart. You can see Sarah Palin's case and I can see it as well but don't throw off on Obama and his children. Let me enlighten you, all blacks do not have nappy hair and all whites do not have straight hair. I'm sure you know that because we've all seen bi-racial children, and some of them have as good a grade of hair as some whites and others a grade better. The nappy hair syndrome went out with the perm and all races use it. Check the beauty salons and see for yourself. Now of course there are some poor blacks that can't afford a perm but the same is true of whites. I do not like talk about Sarah Palin or her family and I damn sure did not like her calling Obama a terrorist and chanting 'Kill Obama". McCain didn't even like that, and he wanted to be president. We all should be about what is right and pleasing to God and not about stupid petty $$$$. I don't give a damn about color, I care about what is right. Color is only skin deep but ugliness of character mars the soul. This country has become a powder keg of racial hatred; The pity is we all need each other to survive, and foreign countries see how we interact with our racial problem so how can we tell them how to live. This will be an interesting 4 years and may God have mercy on all of us.
